Ausama Shoubber, who would later become known as Sam Shoubber, was born in Baghdad, Iraq in 1956.

Sam fell in love with and became passionate about movies at a very young age, beginning with his first trip to the theater at the age of six to see the first Bond film, Dr. No, and continuing throughout his youth in Baghdad. Sam has dedicated his professional life to the film business since falling in love with movies. Sam successfully founded and ran an independent film rental/sale store for nearly 25 years after moving to London in the early 1980s and realizing one of his earliest goals.

Sam began his new professional path in the early 2010s as a supporting actor in major Hollywood movies. Since then, he has worked on various short films, commercials, documentaries, TV series, and other full-length features. Sam’s ambition of working with one of his favorite directors, Guy Ritchie, immediately came true in 2019 when he was offered a part in the film “Cash Truck.”
