#Quote
1My plays are fairly dense, language-wise, so the question is how do you negotiate and parcel out the dialogue? In general certain scenes onstage become funny and giddy because of the language. It worked well in Hurlyburly (1998) I was happy with the movie. I got involved in the editing of the film - lots of editing of stuff where I felt the text had become redundant because the actors had done so much with emotion. It's a very delicate process.
